About Travis

Travis VantVoort serves as an advocate and a listener to anyone he meets, leaving no question unanswered and ensuring the ultimate degree of satisfaction. Integrity, honesty, and precision are part of his everyday carry. Whether building new relationships, providing tailored advice, or negotiating optimal outcomes, Travis’ warm personality and sharp work ethic continually exceed expectations.
From a young age, Travis’ mother raised a beachgoer. Their shared love for Michigan’s sandy shores has made Travis a Lakeshore aficionado. His father’s admiration for a quiet forest was also handed down to Travis. In his spare time, you can expect to find him slowly foraging the dense forests between Allegan and Saugatuck, or in Pentwater, soaking up the sun and perusing the crammed shelves of one of many antique stores.
You may also encounter Travis moseying around the sidewalks with Rhys, his little golden chihuahua. Though Rhys is a bit of a homebody, he springs into action at the sound of a jingling leash. Travis’ affection for four-legged friends began when his father surprised him with the adoption of a Golden Retriever, Max. It wasn’t long before Travis and his mother took home the family’s first cat, Oreo. Since then, Travis has advocated for and contributed to various shelters and rescues, including Crash’s Landing & Big Sid’s Sanctuary and the Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County.
Travis realized his passion for people after several years behind the wheel of a tow truck and considerable time building customer care departments for various companies. His West Coast employers were significantly refined by importing Travis’ Midwestern standards of hospitality and courtesy. His devotion to real estate was kindled after witnessing several harmonious transactions closed by his mother-in-law and, more importantly, ignited by the constructive conversations held between the two as Travis experienced the intricacies of home sales. These behind-the-scenes experiences showed Travis a career with which his dedication to education, communication, and progress could be employed for the community.
